Fantastic sandwiches! The food is so delicious there. I also love their blue cheese and ranch dressings. I don't know what they put in it but my goodness is it delicious. Kim is always doing what she does best and that is cooking. I have been eating there for over 20 years and every time I go in there I say I'm not going to order the Leo Camarillo beef and what do I do I order the Leo Camarino beef. Now don't get me wrong I've eaten other people's Foods at my table. Lol. But I always go back to the leo. Enjoy the food is fantastic the beer selection is local and delicious and the sides are filling.
Ferrareses has the best sandwiches, have not been able to find another place like this. The people that work are very nice but, the food so good.
We stopped here on a drive home from Yosemite. First visit after driving through Oakdale for 30 years. We are glad we did. Excellent sandwiches (pastrami and French dip). Broccoli salad was really good. Pistachio salad was a surprise sort of an ambrosia without fruit but did have coconut in it. I liked it. My wife not so much. We did have to wait a bit for our order but not very long. This place was packed on. Thursday at 1 so I'm sure locals agree that it is a must visit!
I went to Subway for the first time in like 5 years. The sandwich was so awful and so expensive that it drove me to sit down and write this review. After all, it's easy to take places like this for granted. The truth is this place is a gem and deserves every fabulous review it gets even if I have to wait 30 more minutes for my take out orders as a result. The mixed Leo is incredible. The way the tangy mustard/mayo and mushrooms cut the richness of the beef and pastrami creates pure deliciousness. It should be the official sandwich of Oakdale as far as I'm concerned. The whole menu is top notch, though. The Italian Sub is a go to for me if I want a cold sandwich. I love the Chicken Dofino. The bacon jam on it is great. The broccoli salad is my favorite side. I've even tried making it at home, but it's not the same. Other reviews don't touch on the bread enough. A lot of these sandwiches work because the bread is fresh baked. I really appreciate that they put as much effort into the bread as they put into their meats. The service is always great. I think the worst part is they just get slammed at lunch time. You really need to plan especially for to go orders. Is it worth the wait? Absolutely! Don't believe me, then go eat a $17 subway sandwich and get back to me. I'll wait in your line every time. These guys know food!
Amazing sandwiches. This place is always full. They only serve lunch. Local favorite. Order a Leo Camarillo it's AWESOME! French dip is great too. Great Lasagna too. Great looking inside. Designed by a local carpenter. Good, organized service. Very comfortable and clean.
